I am using the free version of Resolve. Currently i am struggling with enabling dual screen mode on Mac OS. On Windows i can go to "Workspace -> Dual Screen -> On" and Resolve switches to dual screen mode. On Mac OS i cannot. The "On" in "Workspace -> Dual Screen" is greyed out. If you have launched Resolve after you have the iMac acting as a second screen, and the Dual Screen menus are grayed out, then apparently Resolve does not think that's an actual second screen. However when I go to the COLOR page, the Camera Raw settings are grayed out to CAMERA METADATA and don't reflect the actual Project Settings. I may not be wording exactly right but Blackmagic greyed out the iso because it is treated so differently between camera companies and it’s difficult to get them all in line with one control system. Exposure treats the footage just the same as an iso level would. This explains at around the 10 min mark. So it looks like it is NOT necessary to create a new timeline as concluded in my last response. I can export .wav files just fine. I still can’t explain why both on DaVinci 16 and 17b9, which are on separate computers, I was having the exact same issue. If I figured out what caused it, I will update again. I discovered this issue after rendering. I would clear the markers and re-run the job in the render queue which reset the IN/OUT markers. After Clearing the IN/OUT markers, make sure to delete any jobs in the render queue and re-add them. I was wondering if anyone has encountered an issue where Resolve just ignores the stabilizing done to a clip. What that's basically done, is made a LUT internally in DaVinci Resolve, which you can then add to other things. The full res stills are stored separately in the Still path, as defined by the first path in Preferences - System - Media Storage, or manually in a project in the Project Settings - Master Settings - Working Folders area. Ryan Atkins. July 16, 2015 at 6:47 pm. In DaVinci Lite 11, you have to select the “Edit” tab to export XML. However, do know that any color information will not transfer over if doing XML. You must export from the “Deliver” tab for color info to be added. Reply to this Discussion!its my first day with Davinci and i just cant figure out why its greyed out for me. i tried changing in the project settings to either sony, black magic etc. but they didnt change anything for this tab. clip im using is just a folder that i drag n dropped (exr - 16 bit images).
